Automated Twitter posts drive me mad.  You can pick them after about 10 minutes and I often wonder what sort of response rate they get.

That said, I have to confess that I am seriously under utilizing Twitter and the potential to see needs and act  on them is virtually limitless.  People will often Tweet something to the effect that they're looking for a new TV, some anti virus solution, an iPad, whatever.

If I were tenacious, patient and somehow amused by watching Tweets all day, it would be possible to build multiple niche targeted Twitter accounts build an army of followers and then Tweet CPA offers when a need is tweeted.

But frankly I'm to busy to sit watching Titter all day, building followers in niches that I'm not passionate about so that I can tweet CPA offers to them – I use Twitter to try and build relationships in the niches that I'm passionate about and to be fair I don't do it any where well or often enough.

But the potential of Twitter drives me nuts.

I found this little program intriguing.

For what its worth,here are my thoughts.

Twitter is a social networking tool and it's growth is frankly staggering.

People are tweeting needs everyday. 

A little niche specific market research and membership of some quality CPA type site like Maxbounty and XY7 or maybe even Commission Junction could pay off quite handsomely using this tool.

Is it abuse or spamming?

No, I don't think so because the software responds naturally to Tweeted needs.

It's an opportunity worth investigating further

STARTLOGIC

Startlogic don't have the profile of the two hosting providers listed above but offer a cheap reliable hosting service worth considering.

SITE BUILD IT/SITE SELL

Much more than a web hosting service.  Site Build It takes you by the hand and teaches you how to construct a search engine friendly web site from scratch.  Site Build It provides you with strong education, quality tools and even a back linking service.  In many respects it is a one stop shop.  However, it has some limitations.  As far as I understand, Site Build It provides websites but does not provide blogging capability – nor does it enable you to build a membership site.

GVO

GVO again provides many more alternatives than a simple web hosting providers. Platinum membership provides unlimited hosting space on unlimited domains along with products like Easy Video Producer, Web conferencing, a learning academy and an autoresponder.  This is a good package for people looking to participate in network marketing, mlm or the make money niche.

Legitimate Home Business opportunities come in many shapes and forms, so when I received an email last week from Nick Oba, the developer and former owner of a unique article content site called Qondio (started life as Qassia) promising to release a new program aimed at people looking to make money from home, I was intrigued.

Qondio is one of my favorite sites, providing me back links to my websites every time I provide short pieces of "intel" on any subject.  It has a proven track record and an active community of writers, it is not however, a business opportunity, but rather a means of generating traffic.

My Verdict

Nothing is certain in the world of online publishing.  Fortitude Magazine is a bold attempt to create a legitimate online business that gives a legitimate business opportunity to opportunity seekers while trying to create a quality publication. 

As with any program there is a risk of failure, however, this is based on a sound business model, has an owner/developer with a proven track record and makes good business sense.

The risks are minimal ($24 per year) and the potential earnings either by contributing content or by referring others to the program could be quite lucrative.

Home business opportunities present themselves almost everyday – too often the prospective home business entrepreneur doesn’t see the wood for the trees and by the time they realize that there is money to be made, the big dogs and the astute have already staked their claim and positioned themselves to be in the right place at the right time.

Home business opportunities are presented in any many forms online, many with much hyperbole, great sales copy, alluring screen shots of Clickbank accounts and the obligatory pictures of fast cars, sandy beaches and pretty girls in bikinis.

(I have a friend who says he can measure a sites scam level by the number of pictures of Big Houses fast cars and pretty girls – if a site has all three he says it's a dead set scam – you might like to remember that measurement when you're looking around)

Before you part with your hard earned cash getting in on the latest "hot" home business opportunity, you need to ask yourself some very important questions.
 

1. What exactly is the business opportunity advertised?
2. Do you have the necessary skills and experience to profit from the business opportunity or are you going to be reliant upon training from the program
3. How much money are you prepared to spend on advertising the business opportunity
4. Can you work the business opportunity into your existing online sales funnel or do you need to start from scratch with it?
5. Who are the business opportunity owners, where do they live and what is their current online reputation.

In short, take a deep breath and really analyze what is on offer – is it training to build and grow your own business? or is it part of some mythical forced matrix or money power line that is almost certainly illegal.

There are great business opportunities online – and not everything will be a good fit for everyone to succeed with any business opportunity you need to find something that fits your own profile and knowledge base – if for example you play guitar you may be able to develop a website about guitar playing and work in affiliate links and a newsletter with products like Jamorama (a Clickbank product).

On the other hand, you may be an instinctive team builder and networker and MLM business opportunities may appeal to you, then do some research get involved in social media and start the process of building your business  with reasonable expactations of what can realistically be achieved in the short and medium terms.

The truth is that here is a business opportunity that fits your personality, your experience and your goals.  The flip side of this is that there are literally hundreds of alleged business opportunities that are designed with one thing in mind – to seperate you from your cash.

To succeed in this business you need to undertake some basic training in specific fields, you need to set reasonable goals and you need to work consistently and diligently towards those goals.  No amount of hype or pictures of pretty girls and fast cars should ever distract you from the truth.

Legitimate Home businesses take time effort and there is some learning involved.

There is no magic bullet or secret button to push.

You just have to do the hard yards and the hard yards aren't really that hard – learn how to blog, learn HTML, learn SEO, start building a contact list and recommend quality products and services.

The more I use WordPress, the more I wonder why it took me so long to be convinced by it.
One of the great things about WordPress is the handy plugins made available by developers to do all sorts of exciting stuff.

Some of the very best plug ins are the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) plugins freely available  from developers.

I have been using Allin One SEO and it's a great plug in -used and recommended by some of the real SEO heavies like Alex Goad and Brian Johnson.

One of the benefits of the IM NIche Formula course (sorry guys now closed) run by Mark Dulisse is the ready availability of cutting edge technology.  Mark recommended Platinum SEO pack over All In One SEO and after trialling it on several blogs, I am gradually transferring it over to all of my blogs.  There is no doubt that this plug in has improved my search engine visibility.  One of the great things about his plug in – is that you can utilize it to tweak each individual post with a title, description and keywords.
I don't demonstrate this feature in the video – but if you make a blog post and then switch to edit you'll fine the Platinum SEO Pack  editing features towards the bottom of the page.

This is just another string to your bow as you promote your on line business -  opportunity, but a very important one nevertheless.  It won't give you #1 ranking on Google, but  it will help.

And in case you're wondering – yes I did pick up the spelling mistakes and fixed them up.
 

There are literally hundreds of tracking devices and hit counters online.  I've used many, and to be perfectly honest, I haven't been completely satisfied with any – ultimately because I want to track my entire process.  I wantto know click through rates on splash pages, squeeze page conversion rates, search engine, traffic direct traffic, affiliate traffic.  I want to know everything – the more I know, the more I can tweak and adjust things to deliver a better overall result for me.
Traditional adtrackers are by their very nature laborious.  I've tried many different ones and I'm never been really happy with posting cloaked tracking links and because I create loads of different pages and content I simply don't have the time to insert tracking links in every page I create.
When I used traditional website setups I found Google Analytics to be a great method of tracking visitors to  and through my sites.
When I switched to WordPress, I found it time consuming and frustrating to have to copy and paste the code into every blog post that I made.
Mark Dulisse came to the rescue by putting me on to a great little Google Analytics plug in that enables me to automate my visitor tracking on my site.

There's a lot of excitement being generated by Soren Jordensan And Cindy Battye's latest offering Affiliate Silver Bullet.

I have been able to get a sneak preview of the product and it is a variation on their massively successful Clickbank Pirate.

Regular readers of my blogs may know that I was singularly unimpressed with Clickbank Pirate simply because I was not able to build grow and nurture my own list with it.

Affiliate Silver Bullet addresses that problem in some respects by allowing advanced users to plug and play their lead capture systems into AWeber's autoresponder.

Essentially, Affiliate Silver Bullet enables you to concentrate on driving traffic to a number of professionally designed squeeze pages that will then follow up on your behalf with recommended products and services.

On the face of it, it could work.

There are some difficulties I can see with utilising it – the first is that you either rely on Affiliate Silver Bullet to do the follow up for you- something that I'm not exactly keen upon or  you use Aweber's services – too bad if you use Get response or Traffic Wave or any other half dozen quality email service providers.

Not withstanding these drawbacks I decided to test Affiliate Silver Bullet for you. 
I am not spending much time on this – in fact I'm spending about as much time as your typical Home Business Opportunity seeker may take between working, and living a normal life.

I have therefore implemented the following test criteria.

I have set up a Clickbank account exclusively for the purpose of testing the product.

I have allocated some Traffic Exchange credits to a squeeze page.

I will advertise a seperate squeeze page once per day for the next week on selected alternating Safelists.

I plan to do nothing else.

At the end of the week I will reveal my results.

My sincere advice to you is not to consider purchasing Affiliate Silver Bullet until you've seen the results of what I would consider the average Internet Marketing hopeful capable of doing.
