Another highly regarded web host provider which is perhaps a more attractive option for people looking to host multiple domains.  Enjoys an excellent reputation and have a strong reliability record.

STARTLOGIC

Startlogic don't have the profile of the two hosting providers listed above but offer a cheap reliable hosting service worth considering.

SITE BUILD IT/SITE SELL

Much more than a web hosting service.  Site Build It takes you by the hand and teaches you how to construct a search engine friendly web site from scratch.  Site Build It provides you with strong education, quality tools and even a back linking service.  In many respects it is a one stop shop.  However, it has some limitations.  As far as I understand, Site Build It provides websites but does not provide blogging capability – nor does it enable you to build a membership site.

GVO

GVO again provides many more alternatives than a simple web hosting providers. Platinum membership provides unlimited hosting space on unlimited domains along with products like Easy Video Producer, Web conferencing, a learning academy and an autoresponder.  This is a good package for people looking to participate in network marketing, mlm or the make money niche. 

Lately there seems to be a load of gurus and eBooks announcing the death of Google and trumpeting the advantages of Social Media traffic.  I received three emails from one "guru" in the last 2 days on the subject and while I agree that the amount of visitors to sites like Facebook is staggering, and while this traffic presents opportunities to promote my home business,  I'm in no hurry to abandon my Search Engine Marketing strategies.  As for Pay Per Click, well, I don't do it on Google anymore, and i tried it on Facebook and I'm seriously underwhelmed.

Let's get one thing straight.

There is an enormous difference between traffic and targeted traffic.

Search engine traffic is laser targeted traffic, in as much as somebody looking for a specific answer to a specific problem has gone looking for that answer on a search engine (eighty percent of the time they use Google).  Facebook traffic (or Twitter, or My space or whatever the flavor of the day is) is another beast entirely.

People use sites like these to socialize, and connect.  They're not looking for answers they're looking to relax.  All my kids use Facebook extensively and if you examine what they're using it for, unless you have a product or service aimed at young adults/teenagers and you're prepared to pay for Facebook advertising, it beats me how you could possibly launch an advertising campaign that would deliver a reasonable return on Investment.

There is an argument used by network marketers that says sites like Facebook are great networking tools and I agree that they, but here's the rub.  Online networking is a skill that has to be learned and polished and it's very labor intensive, whereas SEO is a skill that has to be learned and polished, but once mastered guarantees regular traffic.

Perhaps Alex Goad in his eBook Affiliate Payload hit upon the best use of Facebook which involved the combination of CPA offers and the Facebook games that are so popular and it  is something that I have on a long list of nice to try ideas.

The bottom line is this – Social networking sites are very popular and have loads of traffic,whereas Google is a hugely popular  search engine that people go to when they want to "look something up on the Internet"  Social Media sites can't provide that service.

All of my planned marketing campaigns now start with my Search Engine strategy.  Everything else is an add on.

Reports of Google's impending demise are grossly exaggerated…..

Home business opportunities are presented in any many forms online, many with much hyperbole, great sales copy, alluring screen shots of Clickbank accounts and the obligatory pictures of fast cars, sandy beaches and pretty girls in bikinis.

(I have a friend who says he can measure a sites scam level by the number of pictures of Big Houses fast cars and pretty girls – if a site has all three he says it's a dead set scam – you might like to remember that measurement when you're looking around)

Before you part with your hard earned cash getting in on the latest "hot" home business opportunity, you need to ask yourself some very important questions.
 

1. What exactly is the business opportunity advertised?
2. Do you have the necessary skills and experience to profit from the business opportunity or are you going to be reliant upon training from the program
3. How much money are you prepared to spend on advertising the business opportunity
4. Can you work the business opportunity into your existing online sales funnel or do you need to start from scratch with it?
5. Who are the business opportunity owners, where do they live and what is their current online reputation.

In short, take a deep breath and really analyze what is on offer – is it training to build and grow your own business? or is it part of some mythical forced matrix or money power line that is almost certainly illegal.

There are great business opportunities online – and not everything will be a good fit for everyone to succeed with any business opportunity you need to find something that fits your own profile and knowledge base – if for example you play guitar you may be able to develop a website about guitar playing and work in affiliate links and a newsletter with products like Jamorama (a Clickbank product).

On the other hand, you may be an instinctive team builder and networker and MLM business opportunities may appeal to you, then do some research get involved in social media and start the process of building your business  with reasonable expactations of what can realistically be achieved in the short and medium terms.

The truth is that here is a business opportunity that fits your personality, your experience and your goals.  The flip side of this is that there are literally hundreds of alleged business opportunities that are designed with one thing in mind – to seperate you from your cash.

To succeed in this business you need to undertake some basic training in specific fields, you need to set reasonable goals and you need to work consistently and diligently towards those goals.  No amount of hype or pictures of pretty girls and fast cars should ever distract you from the truth.

Legitimate Home businesses take time effort and there is some learning involved.

There is no magic bullet or secret button to push.

You just have to do the hard yards and the hard yards aren't really that hard – learn how to blog, learn HTML, learn SEO, start building a contact list and recommend quality products and services.

There are literally hundreds of tracking devices and hit counters online.  I've used many, and to be perfectly honest, I haven't been completely satisfied with any – ultimately because I want to track my entire process.  I wantto know click through rates on splash pages, squeeze page conversion rates, search engine, traffic direct traffic, affiliate traffic.  I want to know everything – the more I know, the more I can tweak and adjust things to deliver a better overall result for me.
Traditional adtrackers are by their very nature laborious.  I've tried many different ones and I'm never been really happy with posting cloaked tracking links and because I create loads of different pages and content I simply don't have the time to insert tracking links in every page I create.
When I used traditional website setups I found Google Analytics to be a great method of tracking visitors to  and through my sites.
When I switched to WordPress, I found it time consuming and frustrating to have to copy and paste the code into every blog post that I made.
Mark Dulisse came to the rescue by putting me on to a great little Google Analytics plug in that enables me to automate my visitor tracking on my site.

Home business opportunities are just that – opportunities.
What you choose to do with them and how you go about promoting them will ultimately determine your success.
Let’s be clear about this.
There are thousands of online programs promising that they have “unlocked the code”, “do ninety nine percent of the  work for you”, promise you “forced spillover” or some other bald faced lie.
I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but there are no shortcuts in this business. 
To succeed you need to establish yourself as a credible authority in your chosen niche.
There is no need to be alarmed by this.
It just takes a little thought and some determination to be different from  the vast crowd of opportunity seekers out there.  If you can offer quality information and advice to people, you will build a loyal following – a following that will ultimately repay you for your guidance.
Of course, there are some non negotiable assets that you require to build your reputation, your business and your brand.
They are a domain name, web-hosting and an auto-responder and your own genuine experience.
From there it is a relatively easy process to write a short report on a chosen service, technique  or product in your chosen niche and offer it as a free gift to potential subscribers.
“Wait a minute Mark, I can’t do this – I have no credibility, I’ve never made a sale,” I hear you say.
But there are things that you can do – if you have  a will to do it.
You could write a report on how to set up an autoresponder series correctly.
You could write a report on a new emerging social media program that you are aware of just describing the features and benefits – or even a report on automated Twitter income from a program like Twivert .
You could describe how you got 100 Twitter followers in a week or even better how to use Twitter properly
You could write a report on things to avoid like the plague (HYIP, Cyclers, Doublers, the list is endless really.)
You could join a program like Chitika (an Adsense alternative) and target it directly at people who have lost their Adsense accounts
You could write a report on how easy it is to set up a WordPress blog and the plugins you use.
You could write a report and review on a product that you use and like.

This is where you start your business and then you pass on good information, helpful hints and occasional recommendations.  If you do this people will be glad to receive you communications because you are stamping yourself as somebody different from the usual hype driven constant buy buy buy crowd that this industry is made up of.
Brand yourself as a voice of reason.
People will follow you.
But you need to build that relationship by recommending quality products and services.  Steer clear of the hype fueled “business opportunities” that are nothing more than pyramid scams. 
There are good products out there – products that educate , products that are essential tools and products that map out a business plan
Of course you can go a step further and create short videos and post them on you-tube – once you start the ball rolling, you can’t stop it.  In fact this post has given me enough fuel to write 6 posts.
“But Mark, I don’t know how to make my report available or how to make it a PDF document”  These things are learn-able, and easy when you know how.  What’s more once you’ve learned them you can teach them – via a report of course.
And to make matters easier the next post on this site will be instructional on how to do exactly that.
There is no excuse not to go down this road -it is the price of online success and will open many doors, the question is are you prepared to pay the price or are you willing to accept  a program owner’s word that their program will do it all for you.

Affiliate Silver Bullet is being portrayed by many marketers who should know better as the magic pill- it isn't but it will make things easier in a sense for struggling affiliate marketers looking to make money through Clickbank.
In a previous video I gave you a sneak preview within Affiliate Silver Bullet and undertook to run some tests on its effectiveness by running some of its squeeze pages in some advertising campaigns.
As expected, the advertising campaigns have drawn a blank as at the time of this post and I see no reason to post a video showing you no results.

So what of the product – is it any good?
Affiliate Silver Bullet is a professionally presented affiliate marketing plug and play package that will assist online marketers with their marketing efforts, however, it is not the be all and end all system that some would have you believe it to be.

The Good Points

Affiliate Silver Bullet has identified 28 "silver bullets" with hot Clickbank Products, professionally crafted, targeted squeeze pages and an automated follow up process that over time will convert some subscribers into customers.
With a monthly set 7 month subscription of $47, Affiliate Silver Bullet is affordable to most people looking to build an online business.
Additionally, Affiliate Silver Bullet allows its member's to choose between allowing the owners to host the system for you and do the follow up or alternatively for you to do the follow up yourself. 
My feelings on this are clear – that for you to succeed online you must be creating and developing your own identity, therefore the second option is the only one thatI would  take.
A nice  aspect of affiliate silver bullet is the Traffic Generation section in the member's area which covers in broad terms some of the key traffic generation methods, from Twitter and Social Bookmarking right through to Traffic Exchanges and Safelists.
I have no doubt that if you were to purchase Affiliate Silver Bullet and rigorously apply all of the Traffic Generation methods described in the member's area that you would make money.

THE WEAKNESSES

1. Anything that is a plug and play system like Affiliate Silver Bullet is immediately attractive to novice marketers looking for a quick path to the top, however, this attractive "push button" package can be Affiliate Silver Bullet's weakness.   I imagine that many who purchase this system will unleash their squeeze pages into the usual easy areas like Safelists, Advertising Forums and Safelists and then be battling to compete against the hundreds of others who adopt exactly the same strategy.
2. I am immediately wary of anything that is by its nature reliant upon the owner's judgment and commitment.  Affiliate Silver Bullet is totally reliant upon the owners in so far as products and future updates.  While all products listed are quality products, the life span of many of these products may be as little as six months.  What happens when they go out of date?
3. I don't like the reliance upon AWeber for people who want to adopt the advanced version- I personally just disentangled myself from AWeber and have no desire to renew their acquaintance.

THE VERDICT

Affiliate Silver Bullet will certainly be a massive success – the hype surrounding it's launch has been huge, however, I do not see this product to be the magic pill that it is being presented as.
If you are prepared to follow a process, without branding yourself and tie your fate and future to the owners then Affiliate Silver Bullet may be for you – you will make some money but I don't think you'll break any records.
If you are a serious Internet Marketer who is building your own profile then it may be possible to integrate the Affiliate Silver Bullets into your sales funnel and I see this as the most worthwhile application of this program.

It would be possible to regularly recommend these free 5 day courses on Social Media, Traffic Generation etcetera to existing subscribers or website visitors, thereby utilising the follow up system provided buy Affiliate Silver Bullet without compromising your main business.

To be perfectly frank, if you are a struggling affiliate marketer, affiliate Silver Bullet may give you some success, but it won't give you the whole picture – I would recommend spending your money elsewhere on a product like Gunshot Money or Autocontent Cash, if on the other hand you are having some success already you may be able to integrate Affiliate Silver Bullet into your existing sales process and put the icing on the cake and I see this as the best practical application of Affiliate Silver Bullet.
